Two weeks ago, we released our lists of top poetry collections, short story collections, nonfiction books, and novels. And you probably just finished re-orienting how you think of all your friends, upon seeing Instagram story upon Instagram story of their Spotify Wrapped (or Apple Music Replay, if they swing that way). But have you ever wished you had more of a direct impact on which selections made it to that shiny number one spot on the list?

Character, color, personality, and vision are not just for what’s inside the book—they can be on the front of it, too! They say beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
