Translated from Complete Basho Haiku in Japanese by Dmitri N. Smirnov in 2006. Spider, say again was written by Matsuo Basho in 1680. Basho was considered the master of the haiku poetry form.

Japanese spider female, Argiope amoena
Spider, say again!
It’s so hard to hear your voice
in the autumn wind.
